I ordered a Renogy 175 Watt panel for about $85. Amazon cancelled after a shipping issue, and the price jumped $53. I almost just reordered. Instead I asked Openclaw/Plow to talk to support.

It sat in a long chat with an Amazon associate and got them to refund $53.64.

Tripod arrived without the mounting plate. Plow found the order, started the return, picked free UPS drop-off when pickup wasn't offered, showed $131.24 refund and a Sept 21 deadline, saved the label PDF + confirmation to ~/Plow, emailed the print link.

Two days later I couldn't find the email. It searched Gmail, found it, and explained it was a View & Print link — not an attachment — and reminded me the PDF was already local.

I handed the phone to the kids for one Amazon buy, $200 max. Plow picked up the prior context. Amazon warned that exact LEGO set had been bought before. Instead of blocking them or double-ordering, it checked history, saw the earlier one was returned in January, placed the $174.99 order, next-day delivery. Kids got the set. Cap held.

Unread Hims email: complete your treatment check-in. Plow signed in after I saved the login, paused for consent terms, then walked each health question one at a time as I answered. I wanted to change a locked answer — it tried, then said straight that Hims had locked it.

Refill choice was real money: $299/mo for 9mg vs $149/mo for 4mg. I took 4mg. It submitted the 30-day refill. The boring care workflow actually went through.

Strange scalp sore. Plow logged into Kaiser, stopped before accepting updated legal terms until I approved, found dermatology has no self-scheduling, and sent the care team a request for an appointment or referral. Told me about the 48-hour window and that they might want a photo.

My mom sent "Funeral Homes & Crematoriums.pdf" for her end-of-life file. Plow pulled it from iMessage, got all 16 providers, dug websites/prices/reviews, and emailed me and my mom a Markdown report — best overall, runner-up, composting/natural options, plus pricing (~$1,600–$3,300 simple cremation; $6,000–$10,000+ traditional; $3,000–$7,000 composting).

When they leaned toward eCare, it asked a family member in the VIP thread and put a relative's Zoom availability on my calendar. Scattered PDF → something the family could actually decide on.

While sorting family messages, Plow saw my wife had written "sitting by myself and feeling pretty down," and that my later replies covered logistics but not that. It flagged it as the one thing to revisit — not an auto-reply, not a fake "all good," just a reminder so I could actually respond.

I had two car registrations due and I hate the DMV portal, so I asked Claude to handle it through Plow.

It checked my Plow vault, saw I already had a DMV login and a card stored, and opened a browser on my Mac scoped to dmv.ca.gov. Phone buzzed for permission. I tapped yes.

Only one of my two cars was on MyDMV. The other had a banner saying the DMV no longer had me as registered owner. I'd gotten a paper renewal for it, so Claude used the public lookup (plate + last five of VIN) and pulled the bill anyway. $845 for the newer car. $326 for the older one — blocked, needed smog first.

I didn't know why smog suddenly mattered. Claude looked it up: California exempts cars for eight model years, and 2018 + 8 is 2026. Also my i3 has a range extender, so it's a hybrid, not an EV — no exemption — and the readiness monitors won't pass unless the gas engine has run recently. That would have burned me a second smog-shop trip.

I asked if I should just pay the $326 and deal with smog later. It said no. Pay first and you land in incomplete-renewal: they take the money, hold the sticker, mail you a notice. Deadline's November. Wait a day and do it clean.

Payment method: cards take a 2.1% non-refundable fee (~$18 on the bigger bill). Bank transfer is free. Bank it was.

Vault only holds card-shaped secrets right now, so I stored routing + account as a fake "credit card." Claude asked for that vault item, I approved on my phone, and it filled the form with fill_secret — numbers went vault → field, never through the model. Then it stopped. Page said $845.00 with no fee, name field had no middle initial, and it asked me to confirm the name matched my bank and that I actually wanted to submit.

I said go, and told it to make sure DMV wasn't storing the account. It read the terms, checked the box, hit Pay Now, screenshotted confirmation, closed the session.

Smog shop: just the car, bring the notice, warm the range extender ~20 minutes first, no check-engine light.

One conversation. I never logged into the DMV myself, never read three smog help pages, never compared fees, never almost paid $326 into a hole. It never touched my bank numbers or submitted without asking.

Pickups were scattered across Family, work, and personal — duplicates, no travel buffer. Plow made the right ones, deleted dupes, stretched each to a 90-minute hold with the real time in the title, moved the recurring series off work onto personal through June 2027, and invited work so it still showed.

Less chance of missing a kid because a tiny block hid when you actually need to leave.

Four overlapping coaching threads. Plow rebuilt the proposals against my live calendar, first saw six conflicts, then caught three false alarms from all-day reminders. Real ones: wedding trip, concert, Disneyland. It left a corrected group reply as a Gmail draft, made a recurring practice series, and when the start time was still fuzzy it summarized everyone and reply-alled so coverage was covered.

A teammate asked in a group to put a Raspberry Pi as an exit node on plow.co's Tailscale. Admin change, so Plow didn't treat a VIP ask as enough — it waited for my explicit ok. Then it signed into Tailscale, got the Pi advertising the route, checked Exit Node permission, confirmed "Exit Node Allowed."

It also refused a separate ask to weaken the Mac's approval policy without me authorizing that.

Plow found my May 18 PG&E plan-change confirmation (EV2-A), pulled the tariff and time-of-use rates, compared to the default plan. EV2-A saves 9–21¢/kWh midnight–3 PM, costs more in the evening. So: charge the EV and run dishwasher/laundry before 3. Avoid 4–9.

I run membership for our kendo dojo — match our roster to the national federation database. Names almost never match cleanly; people registered years ago under whatever spelling. Status only shows in one of the two search screens. Thirteen members plus follow-up emails. Usually eats an evening.

This round I gave an agent my Mac, a browser, the thirteen names, and one sentence. It logged in fast, used the search that shows status inline, figured out someone filed under a shortened first name, and for three empty hits searched the whole federation by surname so it could say they really weren't there. It also checked emails on file against mine.

Two catches: one member only shows under a name variant (looks missing on a straight search), and another has the wrong email so renewals were going nowhere. Quiet drift that becomes a lapsed membership later. Then it drafted follow-ups, put a father and son in one email, and dropped editable .eml files on my Desktop. About ten minutes of my attention. Cleaner than when I do it myself.

I vaguely remembered a neighbor texting years earlier about a radio — not who, when, or the words. Plow searched the full iMessage history and found Nov 16, 2024: a neighbor checking whether it was intentional that my kid had given our boat's emergency radio (a VHF worth ~$100) to the neighbor's son. My reply said I was not thrilled with my kid for giving it away.

Google reported a blocked sign-in to my work account right after a new-device sign-in. During inbox triage Plow connected the two, told me the account still needed verifying, and said lock it down — someone had used the password.
